The Osprey 26 is a rugged and seaworthy Pacific Northwest trailerable design whose rough-water capabilities and fully enclosed cabin will appeal to northern anglers and cruisers. Built with foam flotation on a deep-V hull, the Osprey is offered in Short and Long Cabin configurations with several different floorplans. The Short Cabin (pictured above) provides a larger fishing cockpit while the Long Cabin trades cockpit space for the convenience of an enclosed head and more elbow room. Both offer four in-deck fish boxes in the cockpit along with a transom door, livewell, and under-gunwale rod storage. Note that the engine box eats up some cockpit space at the transom. In the cabin, visibility from the helm is excellent and the side windows open for ventilation. Additional features include full walkaround side decks, cabin heater, easy engine access, swim platform, trim tabs, raw-water washdown, outboard motor bracket, and high-profile bow rails. Among several sterndrive engine options, a single 216hp Volvo diesel will cruise the Osprey 26 at 20 knots and reach a top speed of 27–28 knots.
