230 Explorer

EDITOR NOTES: Monterey’s first deckboat design, the 230 Explorer is a traditional party platform with a full inventory of standard amenities. Highlights include an enclosed head, galley with sink and icebox, portside boarding gate, fore and aft swim ladders, in-floor ski storage, cockpit table. Note easy engine access. Cathedral-style hull isn’t too fond of choppy water. Single 250hp MerCruiser engine will cruise in the high 20s and reach a top speed of 40+ mph.
