Midnight Express

39 Cuddy

2000–10

Midnight Express 39 Cuddy
One of the largest production center console boats available when she was introduced in 2000, the Midnight Express 39 is a high-performance fish boat with a huge cockpit and a level of workmanship that should satisfy the most discerning anglers. She rides on a reworked version of the original Cigarette 36 offshore racing hull with increased freeboard, a little less transom deadrise, and the addition of an integrated swim platform/outboard bracket. While the hull sides are cored the bottom of the 39 is solid fiberglass. The deck layout is arranged with a small cuddy forward (with V-berths sitting headroom), a console head compartment, a big 50-gallon transom livewell and a pair of 7-foot in-deck fish boxes. The list of standard features is extensive and includes a radar arch with T-top, cockpit bolsters, transom door, fore and aft freshwater showers, trim tabs, and a custom leaning post with rod holders. With twin 225hp outboards, the Midnight Express 39 will cruise at 25 knots and attain a top speed in the neighborhood of 35 knots. For extra performance, triple 250hp motors will reach speeds in excess of 50 knots. Note that sterndrive power is also available.
