EDITOR NOTES: Downsizesd version of Mako’s popular 263 Walkaround with integral bracket and dive platform is notable mostly for her too-small cockpit. The big surprise in the 243 is the enclosed belowdecks head compartment—a rarity in a boat this size. Standard features include transom fish box and livewell, wide walkways, cockpit shower, courtesy lights. Unimpressive dash layout; modest fuel capacity. Tops out at 40+ mph with single 225hp outboard.
