Lazzara Yachts
76 Skylounge
1992–2000
Lazzara’s most popular model, the 76 Open Bridge was first in a series of world class motor yachts built by Lazzara Yachts. The 76 was best known for her enormous widebody salon and optional enclosed and air-conditioned Sky Lounge flybridge. (Of the 48 built, 30 were Skylounge models.) Featuring a Euro-style transom with twin garages large enough for PWCs, the 76 was available with either full walkaround decks or a full-beam salon (the Grand Salon) with no side decks. The accommodations include three staterooms with en suite heads for the owner's party aft, and two crew cabins forward. The country kitchen galley—separated from the dining area by a privacy door—is one of the high points of the Lazzara 76, and a convenient day head is to starboard, opposite the galley. Built on semi-V hull with a wide beam and propeller pockets, the hull, deck, and superstructure—even the interior floors—are fully cored to reduce weight. The shallow draft of the 76 permits access to shallow-water bays inaccessible to other yachts this size. Accessed from the transom deck, twin MTU 1,150hp diesels cruise at 20 knots (low 20s top).
