274 Cabrio

2002–09

Larson 274 Cabrio
At 28 feet in length, the Larson 274 Cabrio remains one of the larger trailerable mid-cabin cruisers available. She differs from other boats of her type in that she rides on a notched hull that is said to improve both efficiency and performance. The Cabrio’s compact interior offers 6 feet, 2 inches of headroom along with berths for four, full galley, and a head with shower. The galley is highlighted with a faux granite counter, a single-burner electric stove, and under-counter refrigerator. The cabinets are trimmed in bright maple, and the galley sole is covered with an easy-to-clean wood grain composite. There’s a big double in the mid-cabin where a curtain provides privacy from the main cabin. Topside, the cockpit is arranged with a double helm seat forward, a wet bar, and facing seats aft. Note that the Cabrio’s 2-foot swim platform offers plenty of room for carrying an inflatable tender. Additional features include a tilt wheel, radar arch, transom door, CD player, and walk-through windshield. A good performer with a single 250hp Volvo Duoprop sterndrive engine, the 274 Cabrio will cruise in the mid 20s and top out at over 30 knots.
