Larson 270 Mirado; 270 Cabrio
Called the 270 Mirado during 1989–91 and the 270 Cabrio in 1992–93. A popular model for Larson, the 270 is a straightforward express cruiser with modern sportboat lines and a generic mid-cabin interior. Note the fully integrated swim platform, oval ports, and the sleek Euro-style curved windshield. A sun pad is recessed into the foredeck, and the cockpit—with its curved lounge seating and standard wet bar—offers excellent visibility from the raised helm. Below, the mid-cabin interior includes a surprisingly large galley with generous storage, a standup head compartment, dinette, and double berths (with privacy curtains) fore and aft. The roomy bi-level cockpit is arranged with a double helm seat, a built-in wet bar to port, and lounge seating on either side of the centerline transom door. Among several engine options offered over the years, a single 300hp MerCruiser or Volvo stern drive will cruise the 270 at 18–20 knots, and twin 230hp MerCruisers cruise in the mid 20s.
