260-270 Cabrio

1996–2001

Larson 260-270 Cabrio
The Larson 270 Cabrio (called the 260 Cabrio in 1996) is a roomy midcabin express whose stepped hull bottom set her apart from other cruisers in her class. Larsons have always been known for their competitive pricing, and the 260/270 Cabrio targeted entry-level boaters with an eye for value. Construction is solid fiberglass, and a wide 9-foot beam results in expansive cockpit and cabin dimensions. Cockpit features include L-shaped lounge seating, removable cocktail table, swivel companion seat, transom shower, double helm seat, snap-in carpet, cockpit lighting, and a transom door. A walk-thru windshield provides access to the bow area where a removable sun lounge was optional. Below, the 260/270’s no-frills interior sleeps four and includes a galley with fridge and microwave, wraparound lounge seating, enclosed head/shower, and a convertible dinette forward. A filler cushion converts the cockpit lounge into a sun pad. Fit and finish is best described as basic. A radar arch and trim tabs were standard. Twin 280hp MerCruiser sterndrives cruise the 260/270 Cabrio at 20 knots (about 30+ knots top).
