Larson
250 Cabrio
1994–97
With her clean profile and accommodations for four, the Larson 250 Cabrio combines an affordable price with easy trailerability in an attractive sportboat package. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with moderate deadrise and a relatively wide beam, her midcabin interior includes a V-berth/dinette forward, a small galley with sink and refrigerator, and an enclosed head compartment with sink and hand-held shower. Four opening ports and an overhead deck hatch provide ventilation. The aft cabin has a double berth and an opening port. Outside, the roomy single-level cockpit is one of the best in her class with comfortable seating for six adults. (Note that the centerline companionway is much more convenient than the awkward portside entryway found in many competitive models.) A bow pulpit, transom door, and swim ladder were standard. A single 235hp 5.7-liter MerCruiser sterndrive cruises at 20 knots (about 30 knots top), and an optional 300hp 7.4-liter MerCruiser will cruise the Cabrio at 23–24 knots (33–34 knots top).
