2550-2750 Walkaround

1991–98

The Hydra-Sports 2750 Walkaround (called the 2550 Walkaround in 1991–94) is a roomy full-transom express whose solid construction and multipurpose layout made her a popular boat during the 1990s. The wide 9'5" beam of the 2550/2750 offers exceptional cockpit space for a boat this size. Deep walkways around the cabin make it easy to get around, and visibility from the raised helm position is excellent in all directions. Standard features include a molded bow pulpit, Armstrong engine bracket, cockpit lighting, raw-water washdown, tackle drawers, insulated fish boxes (aft of helm seats), cockpit rod storage, gunnel rod holders, cockpit lights, dive ladder, cockpit bolsters, and trim tabs. Note that the transom livewell intrudes into the cockpit takes up valuable fishing space. A hardtop with locking electronics box was optional. Below, the cuddy is set up with V-berths forward, a small galley area, enclosed head with shower, and convertible dinette/V-berth forward. A pullout child-size bunk is hidden in a storage area across the aft end of the cuddy. Twin 225hp outboards top out at 45+ knots.
