From the first look, it’s apparent that the Great Harbour 37 is all about living space, and plenty of it. This maxi-volume liveaboard targets coastal cruisers seeking true condo-like accommodations. The GH37 is built on a full-displacement hull with a wide 15'10" beam, cored hull sides, and a solid fiberglass bottom. According to the builder (Mirage Manufacturing in Gainesville, FL), the cored superstructure and deck have enough buoyancy to keep the vessel afloat. Entering from the protected cockpit, the spacious full-beam salon features two seating areas, a convertible L-shaped settee to port, and two swivel chairs to starboard. There are two versions of the interior layout: In version "A" there is a guest stateroom/study to port with a desk and settee/berth. To starboard is the galley. Version "B" locates the galley to port with a pass-through to the salon. This version features a guest stateroom to starboard with its own head and shower. A washer and dryer are standard. Topside, a Portuguese bridge surrounds the pilothouse with its convertible settee and pilot berth. Designed for coastal cruising, the GH37 will cruise at 7–8 knots with twin 56hp Yanmar diesels.
