Four Winns

265 Vista

1989–93

Four Winns 265 Vista
Long out of production production, the 265 Vista (note that she was introduced in 1989 as the 255 Vista) is one the largest trailerable cruiser ever built by Four Winns. She’s constructed on a solid fiberglass, modified-V hull with a sharp entry and an integral swim platform. The midcabin floorplan of the 265 Vista is arranged with an open V-berth/dinette forward followed by a small galley to port and an enclosed head to starboard. Aft, under the bridge deck, is a queen-sized berth with a privacy curtain and storage shelves. Sliding cabin windows and four opening ports at the bow provide good cabin ventilation, and the headroom in the galley is about 6'. In the cockpit, a curved settee opposite the helm rotates to face the afterdeck. The bench seat at the transom has a kick-up extension for sunbathing, and a transom door leads to a wide swim platform with a boarding ladder. Note that the walkarounds are very narrow. A single 260hp 5.7-liter OMC sterndrive will cruise the 265 Vista at 18 knots (32 top), and twin 175hp 5.0-liter OMCs will deliver a 22-knot cruising speed and top speed of about 34 knots.
