EDITOR’S NOTES: Traditional 25-foot cuddy from an earlier era was simple, cheap and unremarkable. Just about everything in this boat is dated from the simple dash to the primitive, plain-Jane interior. Enclosed head compartment with sink is a plus. Back-to-back seating with stern jump seats was standard; Sport interior with bucket seats and rear sun pad was optional. Cruise in the mid-to-high 20s (40+ mph wide open) with single 260hp 5.7L OMC sterndrive. An all-new 255 Sundowner was introduced in 2006.
