265 Express

2002–12

Edgewater 265 Express
Part luxury cruiser and part fishing boat, a wide 9'6" beam makes the Edgewater 265 one of the larger 26-foot boats on the water. (Most 26-footers are trailerable which limits their beam to 8'6".) The 265 rides on an unsinkable, foam-filled hull with cored hullsides and a solid fiberglass running surface. Loaded with luxury-class amenities, standard features include an integrated swim platform, transom door, fiberglass hardtop, fresh and raw water washdowns, lighted 28-gallon livewell, cockpit bolsters, recessed trim tabs, in-deck fish boxes, windlass, foldaway stern seat, dive ladder, gunnel rod holders, transom shower, and cockpit rod storage. The simple and well-designed helm has space for flush-mounting a pair of video displays. Below, the 265’s roomy (and exceptionally well-appointed) interior features a full-service galley with microwave, standup head/shower, mid-cabin berth, and a convertible dinette/V-berth forward. A factory hardtop with rocket launchers was a popular option. The fit and finish of the Edgewater 265 is second to none. A quick-running boat in spite of her wide beam, twin Yamaha 225s max out at close to 45 knots.
