Edgewater 265-268 Center Console
A quality fishing boat with serious eye appeal, the Edgewater 268 Center Console (called the 265 Center Console in 2002–06) offers anglers a midsize fishing machine of proven offshore ability. With her wide 9'6" beam, the Edgewater is a foot wider than most 26-footers resulting is a spacious 92-square-foot cockpit. She’s also unsinkable, a safety feature sure to resonate with offshore anglers. The Edgewater’s forward-seating layout features a large walk-in console with electric toilet (or Porta-Potti), freshwater sink, and storage drawers. A fold-down (and removable) stern seat comes in handy for the ride home, and a cushion for the bow table converts the forward seating area into a sun pad. Standard features include a premium leaning post with backrest, 28-gallon recirculating aft livewell, two in-deck fish boxes (aft), two forward fish/storage boxes, cockpit shower, fiberglass hardtop with electronics box, Armstrong dive ladder, folding front console seat, Lenco trim tabs, and cockpit coaming pads. The powder coated bow rails are a nice touch. Twin Yamaha 225 outboards power the Edgewater 265/268 to a top speed of about 45 knots.
