Edgewater
262 CX
2018–Current
A premium dual console boat with high quality components, the Edgewater 262 CX is a great choice for family cruising, fishing or diving. Versatility is the major theme of this midsize Edgewater model. For cruising, the bow seating area features a doublewide forward-facing lounge with built-in armrests. The 262’s new Clear View windshield practically eliminates blind spots at the helm. The starboard console houses a finished head compartment with electric toilet and sink, and the port console features locking storage for rods and dive tanks. In the cockpit, the back-to-back lounge seat incorporates an insulated fishbox, and a large center hatch forward of the transom provides access to the bilge. To starboard, the bait prep station features a standard insulated cooler, cutting board, stainless steel sink and a pullout cooler. The hullside dive door makes diving and boarding easy, and the entire helm area is sheltered by the sleek integrated hardtop. With just 21 inches of draft, the 262 can safely explore shallow bays and coves. Like all Edgewater boats, the 262 is unsinkable. Twin Yamaha F200s reach a top speed of 42–43 knots.
