Crownline
270 Bowrider
2004–10
The Crownline 270 Bowrider was among the largest open-bow runabouts produced in the U.S. when she came out in 2004. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with a sharp bow entry and trailerable 8'6" beam, the deep cockpit of the Crownline 270 is arranged with a wraparound rear bench seat with a removable center section for access to the extended swim platform. Twin flip-up bucket seats are forward, and an enclosed head compartment (with sink, exhaust fan, and opening port) is built into the passenger-side console. The 270’s helm console is notable for its large storage compartment and well-designed dash with recessed Faria gauges. Like most boats of this type, a wet bar, beverage holders, courtesy lights, and in-floor ski storage are standard in the cockpit. At the bow, an optional upholstered inset converts the seating into a large sun pad. Additional features include twin transom storage compartments, anchor locker, three coolers, trim tabs, and a tilt wheel. A quick ride with a single 320hp MerCruiser Bravo III, the Crownline 270 will reach a top speed of close to 45 knots.
