Crownline
266 BR
1994–2006
Well built and priced below similar models from Sea Ray and Formula, the Crownline 266 Bowrider is what many boating enthusiasts refer to as a lot of boat for the money. Bowriders have been extremely popular with active families for many years thanks to their open layouts and crowd-friendly seating capacity. A good blend of comfort and performance, most of the features found in the 266 are pretty standard stuff. But Crownline threw in a few items that set her apart from most entry-level bowriders. The in-floor ski locker features a removable liner—just remove it for cleaning—and the Faria dash gauges add a sporty touch. The windshield has wing vents that open at the front and direct airflow to driver and passenger. In the portside console is an enclosed head/change compartment that doubles as a dry storage area. Beneath the helm is more lockable storage, and if you've ever had a piece of clothing caught on a cleat, you'll appreciate the standard stainless pop-up cleats on the 266. Note the in-floor cooler between the two captain’s chairs. Built on a deep-V hull with a trailerable 8'6" beam, a single 375hp MerCruiser with a Bravo III outdrive will top out at nearly 50 knots.
