Cobia
280 Dual Console
2017–Current
One of the most popular types of boats on the water, dual consoles like the Cobia 280 DC are all about versatility making them a popular choice for anglers, day cruisers and skiers. Dual console boats are generally quite spacious with more passenger seating than a center console. The Cobia 280 DC checks all of these boxes and more making her a good choice for family-friendly activities. The standard aft seating and optional port and starboard benches all stow away underneath covering boards creating a wide open and uncluttered cockpit. A standard kitchenette just behind the adjustable deluxe helm seat comes with a cooler, wine rack, and sink, all surrounded by a Corian countertop. Additional seating includes a multi-position lounge seat aft of the head area and bow benches that double as forward-facing chaise lounges. Note the 25-gallon livewell in the port quarter. A fiberglass hardtop with LED lighting is standard, and an optional electric telescoping shade extends from the hardtop to cover the entire cockpit. A sink and marine toilet is concealed within the portside console. Twin Yamaha F200s reach a top speed of 43–44 knots.
