Catalina 30
2018–Current
Describing the Chris Craft Catalina 30 as a pilothouse might be a stretch but who cares, this is a drop-dead gorgeous day boat whose fully enclosed windshield protects the helm from wind and spray. The Catalina is a highly versatile boat, the perfect fun machine for family cruising and ready for casual fishing after folding the cockpit seats out of the way. For anglers, a livewell (optional) is under the helm seat, and rocket launchers are integrated into the transom. With the push of a button a power awning deploys from the after section of the hardtop. Forward of the console is a massive two-person forward-facing chaise lounge, and forward of the helm is a fully equipped cabin with double berth, ceramic sink and marine head. The starboard-side dive door turns the boat into a diving platform with easy exit and entry, and a pull-up teak table in the cockpit forms an alfresco dining area. An impeccably crafted center console loaded with luxury features, if you think the Catalina 30 is an affordable ride you’ve got the wrong boat. Twin Mercury 350 Verado outboards cruise at 30 knots (nearly 50 knots wide open).
