60 Roamer Flush Deck

Traditional motor yacht styling, expansive interior accommodations, and good overall performance made the Chris Craft 60 Roamer Flush Deck a relatively popular model during the 1970s. (Indeed, the fact that the Roamer was built of aluminum appealed to the many boaters of that period who were still uncertain about the long-term viability of fiberglass construction in a boat this size.) Offered as a hardtop model or with an optional flybridge, the 60 Flush Deck was available with a choice of three or four staterooms (the aft guest cabin in the three-stateroom layout is very large). As with all flush deck layouts, the galley faces the expansive salon a step down and forward of the lower helm. While the 60 originally came with an open aft deck and semi-enclosed helm, several were delivered with a fully enclosed aft deck which turned the entire area into an extended full-width main salon. Among several engine options, twin 12V71TI Detroit diesels provide a cruising speed of 17 knots and a top speed of about 20 knots. Note that 26 of these classic yachts were built during her production years.
