29 Sun Tender

The Chris Craft 29 Sun Tender is a high-end runabout designed for family day cruising rather than fishing. She is, in fact, a superb entertainment platform with luxury-class amenities, exceptional fit and finish, and a comfortable layout with seating for a small crowd. Standard features include a sport top with extendable sun shade (and powder-coated frame), fore and aft accent teak, wraparound bow seating with storage under, transom door, removable teak cockpit table, cockpit bolsters, rod storage, three-drawer tackle box (console), wraparound cockpit seating, anchor locker, removable cockpit bolsters, fresh/raw-water washdowns, pull-up cleats, and Lenco trim tabs. The aft cockpit area features a rear bench seat with removable cushions, folding teak table, two in-floor fish/storage boxes and bilge access hatch. The seat in front of the console flips up for access to the head compartment, and a refrigerator is located under the companion seat. Note the Sun Tender’s recessed anchor locker and through-stem anchor system. A bow thruster, windlass, underwater lights, and 28-gallon livewell were optional. A good performer, twin 250hp Mercury Verados reach a top speed of nearly 50 knots.
