EDITOR NOTES: Updated version of Chris 252 Crowne (1991–92) incorporated an all-new cockpit layout with centerline entryway and improved seating. Conventional midcabin interior sleeps four, but dinette seating is cramped. Without a walk-through windshield, it’s necessary to use the narrow side decks to reach the bow. Note small 54-gallon fuel capacity. Cruise in the mid 20s and reach 40+ mph wide open with optional 330hp 7.4L OMC sterndrive.
