330 Grande
0
The Century 330 Grande is an updated version the company’s earlier 300 Grande model (1984–89) with a new curved windshield, sport arch, inboard V-drive power, and an all-new deckhouse mold with an integrated bow pulpit and swim platform. Built on a conventional modified-V hull with solid fiberglass construction, the 330 is a spacious and comfortable boat below thanks to her raised foredeck and full-width cabinsides. Two floorplans were used during her production run, both midcabin designs with berths for six, an enclosed head, and a full-size galley. Headroom is very good, and storage space is adequate for a weekend cruise. Compared with other express cruisers her size, the 330’s cockpit is on the small side. Engine access, via a couple of cockpit hatches, is excellent. On the downside, the Grande’s side decks are practically nonexistent and getting forward is a chore. Standard 260-hp MerCruiser inboards cruise at 21 knots and reach 30+ knots wide open.
