Century 2900 Walkaround
Part family cruiser and part fishing boat, the Century 2900 Walkaround is a heavily built express with muscular lines and a space-efficient deck layout. Like all of Century’s larger fishing boats, the 2900 was built on a deep-V hull with a wide 9'6" beam and a solid fiberglass bottom. What sets her apart from other walkaround boats her size is a surprisingly spacious interior. On the downside, however, the 2900’s cockpit dimensions are modest compared with most 29-foot express boats. Standard features include an integrated swim platform with ladder, molded bow pulpit, in-deck fish boxes, 45-gallon transom livewell, transom rigging station with sink and cutting board, cockpit bolsters, foldaway rear seat, fresh and raw water washdowns, tackle drawers, aft-facing cockpit seat, built-in cooler, transom door, rod holders, cockpit rod storage, cushioned bow seat, and a lockable console electronics box. Below, the roomy mid-cabin interior with full-feature galley, standup head/shower, and convertible dinette/V-berth sleeps four. Twin 250hp Yamaha outboards cruise the Century 2900 Walkaround at over 30 knots (close to 40 knots top).
