Century

2600 Center Console

2002–Current

The Century 2600 CC (not to be confused with the original Century 2600 CC built in 1996–2001) has remained relatively unchanged since her introduction in 2002. With a rigged weight of just 5,800 pounds, the 2600 is a relatively light boat for her size which contributes greatly to speed and economy. The deck layout features an aggressive nonskid surface for secure footing, an integrated engine bracket for maximizing cockpit space, and a level deck forward for fishing. The leaning post has flip-back bolsters, a four-rod launcher across the back, and tackle storage. A 94-quart cooler nestles underneath. Additional rod storage is available in the horizontal racks with locking covers under the gunwales. There's a rigging station in the port corner of the transom with raw- and freshwater washdowns, along with a 42-gallon livewell with acrylic hatch on the starboard side. In between is a comfortable bench seat with a removable backrest. Large in-deck fish boxes flank the aft cockpit and there is more storage space in the bow. Twin fuel fills are a thoughtful touch. Twin 250hp Yamaha engines deliver a top speed close to 45 knots.
