280 Outrage

The Boston Whaler 280 Outrage is a top-tier center console with the quality features serious anglers demand in an offshore fishing boat. With her three-sided, tempered glass windshield, electric forward vent window, and integrated T-top (with floodlights and life jacket storage) the 280 offers something different from previous Whaler designs. Generous seating and luxury-class amenities allow the 280 Outrage to double as a comfortable family cruiser, and a wide 9'4" beam ensures the cockpit and storage space required for two anglers to work without bumping elbows. Standard features include U-shaped bow seating, foldaway transom seat, aft-facing cockpit seats, lockable rod storage, deluxe leaning post with 40-gallon livewell, insulated fish/storage boxes (3), cockpit floodlights, aft tackle storage center (port), console head with electric toilet and shower, trim tabs, recessed bow rails, forward console cooler seat, cockpit bolsters, rod holders (20), and anchor locker. Note the 280’s through-stem anchor system and recessed anchor windlass. As with all Boston Whalers, the foam-filled hull is unsinkable. Twin 300hp Mercury Verados top out at over 45 knots.
