250 Dauntless
2021–Current
For boaters seeking a quality bay boat experience, the 250 Dauntless blends family day boat fun with serious fishing capabilities. Like all Dauntless models, the 250 is a versatile boat. Built on a modified-V hull with a full 18 degrees of deadrise (more than most bay boats), the 250 draws just 15 inches of water. The result is a boat that can handle rough water with assurance, operate in shallow-water bays, and be easily launched or retrieved from a shallow ramp. For anglers, which are presumably most of Dauntless’ owners, the 250 delivers enhanced fishing capability thanks to her open layout and an array of features and options. In the bow area, there are rod holders and a forward fishbox with overboard drain. Amidships, a leaning post is available in several configurations, including a reversible pilot seat with a 35-gallon livewell. Aft, the stern deck is flush, rather than stepped up, with port and starboard jump seats that fold out of the way when not in use. The bow area on the Dauntless 250 features a cushioned sunpad, and there is a lounger in front of console with a storage compartment below. A single 300hp Mercury tops out at 40-plus knots.
