Boston Whaler

240 Outrage

2003–08

A top selling model during her production years, the 240 Outrage was ready for bluewater fishing right out of the box. There's no denying that this boat has serious charisma on the water—the graceful lines are pure elegance, and the quality that goes into a Boston Whaler boat is legendary. Stainless-steel toe rails and padded gunwales make fighting fish a breeze, and recessed bow rails mean no snagged lines. There's ample storage for gear, including rod holders at the gunnels and transom, as well as under-gunnel rod racks, plus port and starboard fishboxes to hold the day's catch. The console has space for plenty of electronics as well as good access to the step-down head compartment. A T-top, deluxe leaning post with tackle storage, transom livewell, foldaway rear seat, and fresh and saltwater washdowns are all standard. Workmanship and attention to detail are way above average. A single 300hp engine will power the 240 to a top speed of nearly 45 knots. Twin 200hp engines deliver 50-plus knots. No lightweight, an Outrage 240 with twin engines and a full tank of fuel weighs close to 7,000 pounds.
