2550 Center Console
1998–Current
One of only a few center consoles this size to utilize an outboard bracket, the Bluewater 2550 is a well-built pocket fisherman with clean lines and an efficient deck layout. Because the bracket sets the engines further away from the transom, the 2550 has the useable cockpit space of a 28-footer. Another nice feature of the bracket is that puts the engines farther back and out of the way of fishing lines (and your ears). Standard features on the Bluewater 2550 include a circulating 35-gallon livewell; a 480-quart fishbox down the centerline, with four additional fishboxes located both forward and aft; seven-foot lockable rod storage; lockable electronics box; and a fully insulated cooler under console seat. The console can be configured for two 12″ displays and any other electronic equipment you may need. The outboard bracket doubles as a swim platform and has a built-in receiver for a removable step ladder. Bluewater boats are built using a “multi-plex” stringer system which allows for a foam-cored transom and no wood materials. The subject of many refinements over the years, twin 200hp Yamaha engines deliver a top speed of 45 knots.
