2855 Ciera Sunbridge

1991–93

Bayliner Yachts 2855 Ciera Sunbridge
Introduced in 1991, the 2855 Ciera Sunbridge is a practical family cruiser with a mid-cabin floorplan and a rather innovative salon layout. Bayliner engineers designed a wraparound dinette lounge for this model with a removable jump seat for access to the V-berth—a great entertaining arrangement with pit-style seating for a crowd. The dinette converts in the normal fashion to a double berth, and both the forward and mid-cabin sleeping areas are fitted with privacy curtains. Topside, a big L-shaped lounge seat (with removable table) provides guest seating opposite the helm. A shower is built into the transom, and a fold-down ladder is available for swimmers. Hull construction is solid fiberglass and a wide 9-foot, 6-inch beam results in a rather roomy boat both above and below. While she’s fairly light compared with other similar boats her size, she rides well in a chop thanks to her moderately deep-V hull. A single 230hp MerCruiser I/O will cruise at 16–18 knots (mid 20s top), and an optional 300hp motor will deliver 18 knots at cruise and about 30 knots wide open. This model was replaced in 1994 with a new 2855 Ciera Sunbridge.
