Bayliner Yachts
275 SB Cruiser
2005–08
Introduced in 2005, this entry-level cruiser combines sporty styling with the spaciousness of a broad 9'5" beam and the economy of a single, small-block engine. There’s a lot to like about this boat—Bayliners were always considered a lot of boat for the money. The chief attribute of the 275 is space, and plenty of it. Indeed, her cockpit and interior dimensions are larger by far than many 27-foot boats. The mid-cabin layout is a model of space efficiency with the dinette cleverly integrated into the forward double berth. The galley is as big as you’ll find in a boat this size with generous storage and enough counter space to actually be useful. A curtain offers a bit of privacy for those in the aft berth, and the standup head includes a marine toilet as well as a shower. Topside, the roomy cockpit of the 275 can seat six passengers without being crowded. Standard features include a transom shower, portable cooler, transom live well, and a removable cockpit table. Like most trailerable cruisers, the Bayliner 275’s modest fuel capacity limits her range. Expect a top speed of close to 30 knots with a single 250hp MerCruiser engine.
