Bayliner Yachts
265 Cruiser
2003–09
A trailerable 26-foot cruiser has been a staple in the lineup of every major builder of express boats for many years. The Bayliner 265 Cruiser was one of the most affordable selections in this entry-level class, and few 26-footers were more popular with the boating public. With her sleek lines, roomy cockpit, and integral swim platform, the 265 presents a sporty appearance in spite of her well-fed profile. Entertaining on deck is easy with the Bayliner’s flexible seating arrangements, cooler storage, beverage holders, and wet bar with an integrated cocktail table. A transom door and transom shower are standard, and the L-shaped lounger opposite the helm converts to a sun pad. A gas-assist hatch provides access to the engine compartment. Below, the 265’s mid-cabin interior features a cushioned V-berth with storage under, galley with stove and refrigerator, quarter berth, and an enclosed head with marine toilet and hand-held shower. Large cabin windows admit plenty of natural lighting into the cabin. A transom storage locker stows lines and gear. With a single 220hp (or 250hp) MerCruiser I/O, the Bayliner 265 will cruise in the high 20s and reach a top speed of 34–36 knots.
