Signs of a yachting addiction can include many things like exhilaration,

freedom, constant yearning to be on the water, landing the biggest fish of your

life, unadulterated enjoyment, quality time with family and friends, and

unrivaled relaxation.

If you’re not careful, you may find yourself the envy of

other boat owners, surrounded by luxurious comfort, at the best fishing spots

in the world, cruising the open waters, or feeling the strongest connection

with the sea you’ve ever experienced.

These four newer models include two motor yachts, a sportfishing yacht, and a luxury center console. Striking, sophisticated, luxurious, sleek, powerful, and modern, the Viking Yachts 54 Convertible, Princess Yachts F62 Flybridge Cruiser, OKEAN Yachts 80 Flybridge Motor Yacht, and Valhalla Boatworks V-46 luxury center console are sure to satisfy any craving.

Viking Yachts 54C

Viking’s new mid-size convertible, the 54C—which made its

world premiere at the 2020 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show—emphatically

reaffirms their domination of the 50’-60’ market segment.

The three-stateroom, two-head open bridge fishing machine

pushes the owner/operator convertible to the highest levels of engineering,

performance, accommodations, and sportfishing capabilities.

Using their in-house Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software—which

allows Viking to run numerous virtual sea trials—the Viking Design and

Engineering Department optimized the 54’s running surface for maximum

performance.

Features of this battlewagon include a hull built with an

engineered composite of fiberglass fabrics and coring that’s vacuum-infused

with vinylester resin; a 154-square-foot unobstructed cockpit that offers

more space than any other boat in its class; a streamlined walk-around center

console that provides 360-degree sightlines; and an impressively spacious

interior that features an uninterrupted companionway that stretches from the

starboard-side salon door all the way to the forepeak.

Hull #1 is powered by the optional MAN V12 1550CRM (1550

MHP) diesels, which will pump out an estimated cruise speed in the mid-30-knot

range with a top end of 40-plus knots. A pair of MAN V12 1400CRM (1440 MHP)

diesels are standard.

And, as with all Vikings, the 54 can be outfitted with a custom designed and fabricated Palm Beach Towers tuna tower and equipped with navigation, communication, and entertainment systems from Atlantic Marine Electronics, making it truly turnkey.

Princess Yachts F62

Flybridge owners typically prioritize space, and thePrincess F62 delivers that in abundance.

Nearly three feet longer, several inches wider, and much

taller than its predecessor, the Princess 60, the English builder’s latest

flybridge model is big, tall, and roomy.

Princess incorporated tons of volume into this beautiful

boat and they wanted to accentuate that. The F62 features an increased amount

of glass in both hull and superstructure to emphasize the increase in interior

space and using the latest infusion technology allowed the inclusion of

features normally exclusive to much larger yachts.

The sophisticated interior is loaded with intricate details, hidden design gems, and clever touches.

The flybridge inspires relaxation with a large dining area,

sun pad, and unique circular forward seating area that can be converted into an

additional sun pad.

A walkthrough foredeck entertaining space and hydraulic

bathing platform are standard on this pioneering yacht, and the spacious main

deck saloon seamlessly connects to the world outside through sweeping full-length

side windows.

The three handsomely appointed ensuite cabins are bathed in

natural light, and there’s an option of a further twin cabin aft for occasional

guests or crew.

Even with the added height and volume, the F62 features

confident, predictable handling in all conditions due to the genius of the

design.

Twin Volvo D13-1000 (1,000 MHP) are standard, with optional 1,200 MHP MAN V8-1200 diesels available.

OKEAN Yachts 80

The new OKEAN Yachts 80 Flybridge Motor Yacht, the latest

from the groundbreaking Brazilian builder,

is receiving well-deserved global attention, including recently being awarded

“Revelation of the Year” at World Yachts Trophies 2020 in Cannes.

The biggest yacht in the OKEAN lineup to date, she still features the innovative “Open Up Your World” fold-out balcony design. When combined with the large windows, large sliding double doors on both sides, and the transformer platform transom, the 80 offers spaces in which the threshold between the interior and the exterior becomes imperceivable, giving an even greater sense of freedom and connection with the sea. The main deck is all on the same level, joining the salon and aft deck, which gives an even greater feeling of spaciousness, especially with the sliding glass doors fully open.

The OKEAN 80 was developed around the layout of decks and

the innovative use of space, creating diverse environments for leisure and

socializing and providing different types of experiences that are appealing to

various types of boaters.

A beach club can be set up on the aft deck, something rarelyseen on yachts in this size range.

However, one of the biggest highlights of the yacht is the massive

flybridge. It’s the total width of the beam, is a generous 522 square feet, and

can be divided into five separate environments, with a large lounging area, a

full wet bar with sink and refrigerator, a large covered dining table, and the

central helm station towards the bow.

Below deck you’ll find four staterooms—including a remarkably large master cabin—one of which can be converted into a home theater. And there’s ample day light thanks to the large panoramic windows in the hull sides.

Valhalla Boatworks V-46

The Valhalla V-46 is the latest, and biggest, in Viking’s V

Series of high-performance luxury center consoles. She features the usual performance,

fishability, engineering, and build quality, of her brethren, plus

personalization opportunities never seen before in this genre.

First and foremost, the V-46 is a dynamic and versatile fishing

machine. The deck layout optimizes freedom of movement and stresses ease of

access to all pertinent equipment, and she was designed with a mounting

structure molded into the vessel’s resin-infused structural stringer grid for

the installation of an available Seakeeper stabilizer.

And it’s easy to add a custom Palm Beach Towers gap tower orfold-down marlin tower with removable sunshade.

Taking full advantage of all the space, the seating

opportunities on the V-46 are diverse and plentiful from bow to

stern. Costa Marine bench seating at the helm is standard. She also offers

a second row of seating for up to four additional crew or guests, as well as

the aft-facing mezzanine seating that has been so popular on the first three V

Series models.

Speaking to the customization options, owners can go with a

Costa Marine bench for the second row of seating or four Release Marine or

Llebroc chairs with shared armrests, folding bolsters, and electric slides. The

second row is elevated an additional three inches and has a footrest area for

enhanced visibility and comfort.

There’s loads of room below as well, including ample

headroom (6’ 7”), and the free-flowing, natural-light-filled, open layout includes

a dinette with U-shaped seating and bolstered backrest around a drop-down table

that converts to a queen berth.

Directly aft of the galley is the private head with amolded-in vanity with freshwater sink and faucet, toilet, and shower.

Engine power will not be in short supply on the V-46. She can be powered with either quad Mercury V8 450Rs, Mercury Verado 400s, or Yamaha V8 425s. And the nearly 700-gallon fuel capacity provides the ability for long extended trips.
