The newest addition to the MJM Yachts lineup has officially made her debut.
The all-new MJM 38V premiered earlier in September at the MJM Experience in New Bern, North Carolina, introducing the first model in MJM’s new V-Series. With a fresh silhouette, expansive open-air spaces, and the performance and efficiency MJM is known for, the 38V brings a new expression to the brand while staying true to its core philosophy.
HMY was among the first to preview the new 38V, and after experiencing the vessel firsthand, we’re excited to see this innovative day-yacht officially introduced to the market. It brings a fresh approach to time on the water, with a versatile layout, thoughtful design, and the signature qualities that have become synonymous with MJM.

And for those ready to see it in person, the 38V is headed to South Florida next. The new model will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 28–November 1, 2026.
A New Direction for MJM
The 38V is the first model in MJM’s new V-Series, expanding the lineup with a more open, contemporary day-yacht experience.

Its design centers around connection to the water. A sculpted hardtop, expansive glass, electrically actuated forward windows, and an open layout create a bright, comfortable environment that transitions easily from cruising to entertaining.

Generous bow and cockpit seating give guests plenty of room to spread out, while thoughtful amenities including a private enclosed head, premium finishes, and versatile dining spaces make the 38V equally suited to a long day on the water or an afternoon that turns into evening.

At 38'6" with an 11' beam, the 38V offers substantial space without losing the nimble character that makes a yacht in this size range so appealing. Advanced composite construction and a modified deep-V hull are designed to deliver both efficiency and performance, with 50+ mph capability and extended range. The 38V offers nearly twice the fuel efficiency and range of similarly equipped models.

HMY Has Hull #3 in Production
For buyers who don't want to wait for a future build slot, HMY Yacht Sales has something especially exciting to offer: Hull #3 of the MJM 38V is currently in production at the MJM factory and will be available through HMY.

There is something particularly exciting about seeing a new model go from a rendering to a yacht taking shape in the factory, and Hull #3 is already on that journey. Stay tuned as HMY follows the yacht as it progresses through construction.
Built the MJM Way
While the 38V introduces a new look and a new direction for MJM, the fundamentals remain familiar.
The yacht is built in North Carolina using MJM’s advanced composite construction, combining lightweight strength, efficiency, and durability. The 38V is engineered around the same owner-focused approach that has defined the brand: a confident ride, intuitive operation, thoughtful use of space, and a design intended to make spending time on the water easier and more enjoyable.
The result is a yacht that feels distinctly different from the existing MJM lineup while still being unmistakably MJM.
