Designed to align with Princess’ new Y-class exterior styling, the Y85 delivers a heightened level of luxury and performance.

Overview

Conceived by the Princess Design Studio in collaboration with famed naval architect Bernard Olesinski and Italian design firm Pininfarina, the new Y85 features Princess’ iconic tiered windows which reach across the full length of the hull. Over 85 feet in length with over 20 feet of beam, the Y85 is an unquestionably elegant yacht whose modern design exceeds that of any previous Princess yacht.

Layout

The Y85 offers exceptional living spaces including a spacious main deck saloon that seamlessly connects to the aft cockpit, creating a spacious and open social area. Large windows behind the large U-shaped salon sofa provide guests with panoramic views of the water. Adjacent to the saloon is the dining area which features an elegant dining table that can comfortably seat six guests — the perfect setting for formal or casual meals. A sliding door to the galley and an electronic divider over the bar transforms the galley from open and sociable to fully enclosed. A few steps forward on the main deck is a convenient day-head for guests. For privacy, the helm area can be closed off for night running.

Below, accommodations are provided for up to eight guests in four beautifully appointed staterooms. This includes a full-beam master suite with a king-size bed, a luxurious VIP cabin, and twin guest cabins, each with ensuite bathrooms. Large windows in the master suite offer breathtaking views of the ocean. Crew quarters for three (with private access) are aft. Throughout the interior, the Y85 is beautifully designed with high-quality materials and finishes presenting a comfortable and sophisticated ambiance. The workmanship is impeccable.

The outdoor areas of the Y85 are equally impressive with ample deck space for socializing and relaxation. The aft deck is perfect for alfresco dining, while the flybridge is designed for entertaining on a grand scale with a spacious dining area opposite of a wet bar with a barbecue and a fridge, a large aft sun pad, and forward-facing seating on either side of the helm. Above most of the bridge is an immense fiberglass hardtop supported by sweeping cantilevers on each side.

Performance

The performance of the Y85 is impressive — powerful 1,900hp MAN V12 diesels deliver a top speed of 32–33 knots. The yacht is also equipped with advanced navigation and stabilization systems ensuring an enjoyable cruising experience.  Specifications
