On Friday, June 6th, HMY Yacht Sales hosted an unforgettable evening dockside at Bahia Mar Marina in Fort Lauderdale, bringing together clients, friends, and industry partners for our first-ever Dock Tale Social — a celebration of the summer cruising season and everything we love about life on the water.
From 5 to 8pm, guests gathered at Bahia Mar Yachting Center in Fort Lauderdale to enjoy island vibes, Bahamian flavors, and good company. With live island music setting the tone, attendees sipped custom cocktails and sampled traditional Bahamian bites while catching up with fellow yachting enthusiasts under the golden glow of the Florida sun.

LMR Tackle drew a crowd with live knot-tying and rigging demos, offering hands-on tips for targeting big game like blue marlin and tuna. They also held a casting competition right on the docks!

We were especially honored to welcome representatives from the Bahamian Ministry of Tourism, who spotlighted top cruising and fishing destinations across the Abacos and Exumas. Their expert insight inspired dreams of island hopping, hidden anchorages, and the rich culture that awaits just across the Gulf Stream.
As the evening drew to a close, guests were treated to a show-stopping Junkanoo performance, complete with colorful costumes, rhythmic drums, and joyful dancing—a perfect send-off into the summer season.
