HMY Yacht Sales proudly hosted the 3rd Annual HMY Lowcountry Cup Billfishing Tournament from May 28–31, 2025 at Toler’s Cove Marina in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. As the third leg of the prestigious South Carolina Governor’s Cup Billfishing Series, the Lowcountry Cup brought together elite sportfishing teams for three action-packed days on the water, combined with dockside events and food trucks at Toler’s Cove Marina.

Giving Back: Captains for Clean Water
This year’s official tournament charity was Captains for Clean Water, a non-profit championing the restoration and protection of vital marine ecosystems. The silent auction proceeds from the 2025 Lowcountry Cup were donated to support their mission—advancing science-based solutions and advocacy efforts from Florida to South Carolina.
A Tournament with Heart & Hospitality
Beyond the fishing, attendees enjoyed an incredible schedule, including a Captain’s Meeting at Mainland Container Co., live music, food trucks, and weigh-ins with a view. The Release Marine Fighting Chair Competition brought a fun, competitive spirit to the events held at Mainland Container Co., while the final awards celebration capped the weekend with well-earned recognition, live music, a lowcountry boil, and camaraderie.
