Growing up in Cold Spring Harbor, New York, Tim Gredick enjoyed cruising and fishing with his family throughout the North Atlantic. After graduating from Roanoke College with a BS in business administration, and meeting his wife, who’s from South Carolina, he moved to Charleston and began his career with Charleston Yacht Sales.
Tim joined HMY Yachts in 1999, and has led sales in the Charleston office for eight out of the past 12 years, receiving numerous sales awards at HMY’s national annual sales meetings in Miami. He’s a Viking Master’s graduate and is well versed in all aspects of the transaction process, including surveys, tax laws, market valuations, marine finance, and insurance, as well as contract negotiations.
Over half of Tim’s clientele consists of repeat business and customer referrals, which is a reflection of many years of hard work and demonstrates that his customers have a great deal of confidence in his abilities. At the end of the day, his clients expect honesty, results, and service, and that’s exactly what he provides to them.
Tim’s understanding and mastery of today’s digital photography equipment gives his clients an important edge when it comes to presenting a boat for sale. Global clients are now a significant part of the business and Tim’s photography provides a professional presentation of clients’ vessels, both in print ads and on the Internet.
Fishing is Tim’s passion, and he’s involved with the South Carolina Governor’s Cup and is on the board of the South Carolina RFA. He enjoys fishing at home and all over the world with clients, friends, and his young family.
