Born on Long Island, New York, Chris Vacchio was smitten with the ocean at a young age and developed a passion for fishing and boating, which is ingrained in him to this day. He began working on party boats and from the age of 16 through his early 20s, he worked on commercial fishing boats. He’s done everything from lobstering to sword fishing, where he learned to work long days.

In 1989, Chris moved to South Florida, where he’s enjoyed a successful 36-year career and has been a consistent winner of various fishing tournaments. He has traveled extensively, from Maine to South America, and throughout the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Chris served two tours as a U.S. Army Ranger, showing an extreme commitment to duty, which he still exemplifies in everything he does. As a member of the HMY Yachts sales family, Chris demonstrates this same work ethic and commitment to his clients, before, during and after the sale, bringing strong broker-client relationships to the table.
