Yellowfin Boats

A pioneer in the premium center console category, Yellowfin Yachts was founded in 1998 when Wylie Nagler set out to build a high-quality, go-fast boat with the qualities that offshore fishermen would love. Nagler started Yellowfin after selling Back Country Powerboats, a company he founded in the early 1990s. The first Yellowfin boat—a 31-foot center console that Nagler designed from scratch—was introduced in 2000. Since then the company has seen the addition of several successful models to a center console lineup that by 2021 ranged from 26 to 54 feet. Yellowfin also builds smaller skiffs and bay boats from 17 to 26 feet. Historically, the Yellowfin 36 is said to be the company’s best-selling boat. Yellowfin sells boats factory direct and operates service centers in key locations throughout the country. The Yellowfin facility in Bradenton, FL has over 220 employees producing approximately 70 inshore and 70 to 80 offshore boats per year. The average customer wait time for a new Yellowfin boat is about one year from order to delivery. An international brand with a presence in Australia, Japan, Dubai, and the French Riviera, Yellowfin was sold to Warbird Marine Holdings—which also owns Invincible Boats—in 2021.   With offices reaching from the Florida Keys to Charleston, SC, HMY brokers are positioned in key yachting locations in the southeastern U.S. Our experienced team of motoryacht sales professionals stand ready to assist buyers in the purchase of pre-owned Yellowfin yacht.
