A popular model, the Parker 2820 XLD Sport Cabin is a no-frills pilothouse fishing boat with a large cockpit and fully enclosed cabina durable all-weather fishing platform built for the long haul. Simple, seaworthy, and reasonably priced, the 2820 XLD rides on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide 9'6"" beam and a flared bow. Standard features include a bow pulpit with roller, Armstrong outboard bracket, anchor locker, trim tabs, cockpit lights, raw-water washdown, opening front windshield, full-height bow rail, cockpit rod storage, transom fish box, and gunnel rod holders. The Parker 2820s lockable cabin with pedestal helm seats, sliding side windows, Porta-Potti, and V-berth sleeps two. Options include a galley cabinet with refrigerator and stove, cockpit bolsters, cockpit sunshade, anchor windlass, above-deck livewell, Armstrong dive ladder, tackle storage cabinet. A transom door became standard in 2014. On the downside, the side decks of the 2820 Sport Cabin are very narrow and getting to the bow can be a challenge.
