Length w/ Pulpit:
One of Luhrs final model introductions before succumbing to the Great Depression, the mega-wide 14'6"" beam of the Luhrs 35 Convertible dwarfs other convertibles her size in both cockpit and cabin space. This is a big 35-footer with the interior dimensions of several 40-foot boats. The salon contains a galley, dining table, sleeper sofa, and an entertainment package containing a flat-screen TV and Bose speakers. Straight down the stairs, through the hallway, is the master stateroom with its walkaround queen bed, cherrywood trim, and cedar-lined hanging lockers. Aft of the master stateroom, to port, is the guest stateroom with a double bed. Opposite is a large double-entry head with separate stall shower. The 35 Convertibles big 88 square-foot cockpit has a 30-gallon livewell, bait preparation center with sink, in-deck fish boxes, four flush-mounted rod holders, raw and freshwater washdowns, under-gunnel lighting, and transom door. Note the molded flybridge steps and flybridge cooler storage. The engine room is unusually large for a boat this size. Cruise in the low 30s with 480hp Yanmar inboard diesels; about 30 mph with 370hp Volvo IPS drives.
