Available in express, convertible or hardtop coupe versions, the semi-custom Hunt 33 Surfhunter is designed for the yachting enthusiast looking for a sophisticated overnight or weekend cruiser. Like many express boats her size, the Surfhunter can fish, cruise, and explore with equal aplomb. A removable full-width transom seat is standard in the cockpit, and an L-shaped lounger is to port on the bridge deck, three steps up from the cockpit. For engine access, the entire bridge deck floor lifts on a hydraulic ram. Below deck, the Surfhunter’s varnished cherry-trimmed interior features a V-berth/dinette forward, convertible dinette, galley with single-burner cooktop and microwave, and a standup head with marine toilet, sink and shower. A teak-and-holly cabin sole is standard. The hardtop version has an electric sun roof, opening side vents, and power front windows. Rod holders, raw-water washdown, transom shower, electric windlass, and teak cockpit table are standard. Built on a deep-V hull with a prop pocket and solid fiberglass bottom, a single 425hp Cummins straight-shaft diesel will cruise the Surfhunter 33 at 26–28 knots (low 30s top).
