A proven tournament winner, the Contender 31 Open is a brawny, top-quality fisherman whose meticulous finish and high-performance capabilities placed her in the forefront of large center console fishing machines. The high-tech hull is vacuum bagged and cored above the waterline with wide reverse chines and two lifting strakes per side to provide a dry ride. A single-level cockpit makes the Contender an easier boat to move around than those center consoles with larger consoles. Features include an integrated dive platform, two 40-gallon LiveWell's, transom door, deluxe leaning post with rod holders, in-deck fish boxes (two fully lined 400-qt. boxes forward, two 225-qt. boxes aft), recessed bow rails, washdowns, gunnel rod holders, recessed trim tabs, walk-in console, cockpit bolsters and an anchor locker. Rigged for fishing, this boat is ready to go.
