One of the best-looking express cruisers of her era, the Trojan 12 Meter Express set the standards for many of today’s sportboat designs when she was introduced back in 1989. She rides on a fully cored, DeltaConic hull with prop pockets, and with over 14 feet of beam, the 12 Meter is a big 40-footer. Below deck, the salon is open and spacious and can easily be transformed into separate sleeping areas. An accordion-style privacy curtain hidden in a small bulkhead door converts the portside settee into a unique stateroom, and the U-shaped dinette (also convertible into a double berth) serves as the social center of the boat. The master stateroom is completely private with its own head access. On deck, the cockpit is arranged with lounge seating fore and aft, a very high-style helm console, and a hydraulically operated, in-deck storage well for an inflatable. The powder-coated all-white deck hardware and bow rails are especially attractive. Additional features include wide side decks, a bow pulpit and a swim platform with molded boarding steps. Optional 485hp 6-71 diesels cruise the 12 Meter Express at 26–27 knots and reach a top speed of around 30 knots.
