The Triton 351 is a well-constructed center console built to handle the added weight and power of today’s four-stroke outboards. Triton builds a solid boat—their fiberglass and aluminum bass boats are top sellers in the freshwater fishing world, and Triton’s series of saltwater fishing boats is well regarded throughout the industry. Introduced in 2005, the Triton 351 rides on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull with moderate beam and an aggressive 24 degrees of transom deadrise. Triton uses no wood in the 351, relying instead on composite unibody construction with hand-laid-up hull and foam-filled stringers. A single-level deck makes it easy to get around, and the large (tilt-up) console has enough space at the helm to install two 15-inch displays. Highlights include a triple helm seat with 50-gallon livewell, 21-gallon transom livewell, transom storage box, lockable rod lockers (2), foldaway rear seat, fender storage, and a forward fish box with macerator. A cockpit hatch provides easy access to the bilge. With 355 gallons of fuel capacity, the 351 has a range of 350–350 nautical miles at cruising speed. A fast ride, triple 275hp Verados deliver a top end of close to 50 knots.
