Introduced in 2006 the Tiara 3900 delivers the features and performance serious anglers expect in a top-tier offshore convertible. Tiara has never been a big player in the convertible market; the company is much better known for its versatile express boats and luxury sport cruisers. With the 3900 Convertible, Tiara engineers attached a bit more importance to interior volume than cockpit space. The interior is large and inviting with a spacious salon/galley and two staterooms below. The salon has facing Ultraleather L-lounges; the starboard lounge has a removable teak/birds eye maple table, and the port lounge converts to a berth. A teak-and-holly sole is standard, and the built-in entertainment center above the dinette includes a flat screen TV and Bose sound system. The front salon window section is a nice touch for cruisingmost convertibles dont have glass windshields. Note the round shower door in the head. The 80-square-foot cockpit includes a bait prep center with cutting board and tackle drawers, large transom livewell, in-floor storage boxes, transom shower, and engine room access door. Cummins 540hp diesels cruise in the mid 20s (30+ wide open).
