Among the largest production sport yachts of her era, the Predator 80 is a striking blend of world-class styling, lush accommodations, and best-in-class performance. She’s built on a deep-V hull with a unique bottom configuration designed to ensure a clean flow of water to the central prop. While the interior can be customized to meet an owner’s requirements, the standard floorplan includes three owner and guest staterooms and a small two-bunk crew cabin. Like all Sunseekers, the Predator’s polished cherrywood interior is simply lavish, although the passageways and cabin doors are very narrow. A pair of sliding glass doors separate the enclosed deckhouse (or day salon) from the aft deck, and the transom opens to reveal a huge garage for storing a personal watercraft or an inflatable. A few of her more notable features include a hydraulically operated sunroof, bow and stern thrusters, teak decks, cockpit and foredeck sun pads, and good access to the engines via port and starboard deck hatches in the cockpit. Triple 1,200hp MAN diesels linked to Arneson surface drives cruise the Predator 80 at a fast 35 knots and reach a top speed of just over 40 knots.
