Bold styling, exemplary finish, and impressive performance were combined in the Sunseeker Manhattan 56, a sophisticated European motor yacht introduced to the American market in 2001. Styling aside, the Manhattans large cockpit and roomy flybridge are matched by her spacious multilevel interior with its high-gloss cherry cabinets and rich designer fabrics. The elegantly appointed salon provides a separate dining area forward and facing settees aft. Adjoining the galley, several steps down from the salon level, is a small crew cabin. Forward, the master stateroom has an ensuite head and shower, while a second head serves the two double guest staterooms. Each cabin features a flat-screen TV. A ladder provides direct access from the lower helm to the bridge where the seating can be converted to a panoramic lounge area. The Manhattans engine room is reached from a hatch in the cockpit. An extended swim platform, teak cockpit sole, and bow thruster were standard. Built on a deep-V hull with prop pockets, twin 660hp Cat diesels cruise the manhattan 56 in the mid 20s and reach a top speed of just over 30 knots.
